Bringing together approximately 150-200 participants representing Global Compact Local Networks (GCLNs), Regional Support Centers, the private sector, government and civil society representatives, the Annual Local Networks Forum provides a unique platform for GCLN representatives to exchange experiences in addressing the challenges and opportunities faced by networks in their efforts to promote the Global Compact locally. More importantly however, the key function of the Local Networks Forum is to seek input from GCLN representatives on key governance issues relating to Local Networks and the Global Compact initiatives as a whole.
