The GCN Hyderabad Chapter was launched on 30th July 2010. The launch was hosted by NMDC Limited. Mr. Rana Som, CMD, NMDC & Vice President GCN was unanimously elected as the Chairman for the chapter.

Mr. Nandan Nilekani, Chairman, UIDAI delivered the 1st Subir Raha Memorial Lecture organised by Global Compact Network on July 7, 2010 at New Delhi.

The Fifth GCN National Convention was held at Mumbai on 15th January 2010. The theme of the Convention was Business Responsibility: Indian Realities & Responses- The Role of Global Compact.

The Leaders Summit would provide a platform for the corporates across the world to address the emerging global challenges.

The Conclave, sponsored by ONGC Ltd, one of the founding members of Global Compact Network, India was attended by over 500 participants from India and 21 other countries of the Region.

India would be hosting the UN Global Compact Asia-Pacific Regional Conclave on 15th & 16th March 2010 at Ashok Hotel, New Delhi. The theme of the Conclave would be Enhancing Enterprise Value Through Responsible Business Practices.

Global Compact Society has now formally changed its name to Global Compact Network (GCN), to be in line with global practice...

that corruption and unethical practises have a far reaching
negative impact on business and Society at large.

The Fifth Annual General Meeting of the Global Compact Society will be held on 29th June 2009
